innovation at Intersolar 2009 with US partner MGK.
Grupo Clavijo will present the most advanced double-axis solar tracker on the market. The exclusive and innovative patented-hydraulic brake system in the azimuth movement makes these trackers stand out from competitors'. Miller Welding & Machine Co. will manufacture the double-axis trackers in the United States through an agreement between its affiliate MGK Technologies, Inc. and Grupo Clavijo.
Some of the innovations found in this state-of-the-art tracker include:
- An absolute encoder which enables accuracy of +/- 0.5°.
- A solid structure that can withstand winds of up to 100 mph.
- Secure, internally-housed electrical, motor and hydraulic systems.
- Independent programming for manual or integrated online control.
- Astronomic solar tracking which reads coordinates of each tracker.

- Custom-made remote controls
- Hydraulic protection system that ensures neutral position in power loss
- Maintenance on trackers to ensure proper control and operation
